Repairing a lithium battery is much different from reconditioning a NiMh hybrid battery. The most important difference is when a lithium battery achieves thermal runaway, it will explode. Fire likely will result and it surrounding environment could combust, also. Unlike a lithium battery, the NiMH battery may explode venting hydrogen and oxygen but like will not catch fire. That’s a big deal.
