Periodic Battery Maintenance
Battery maintenance is not easily ignored and failure can be at the most inconvenient of times.
The team at CedarHybrids is skilled to perform preventive maintenance on your battery with expectations you will not find yourself stranded.
Preventive maintenance includes reconditioning buss bar components eliminating existing corrosion and prepping battery connections encouraging extended life span. Also, the battery bank will be fully charged and balanced to ensure the most optimal performance possible.

Swap Hybrid Battery
It's been said battery chemistry has a bit of "black magic" rolled into its' design. CedarHybrids takes the magic out and achieves a high degree of success reconditioning EV hybrid batteries.
Once the battery is removed from the vehicle and placed on the CedarHybrids test bench, a wiring harness is attached to each module providing full access to test each module individually and also as an entire pack of battery modules.
Proprietary software is employed to fully test each module while plotting performance and identifying the quality of each module. Any modules found bad are replaced with modules that complement the existing modules. The battery pack as a whole is then balanced and prepped for reliable service.
Hybrid Battery Diagnostics
It's likely at some point you will notice your hybrid becoming sluggish and slow to respond. We at CedarHybrids can utilize software to diagnose battery state of health even before the battery is removed from your vehicle. It will give a best guess as to the condition of your battery and recommendations will be given as to the best next steps to renew the performance of your battery.
Upon removal of your battery from your vehicle, your battery will be placed on a sophisticated "state of the art" test bench. Here a proprietary diagnostic and reconditioning battery system is used to accurately identify modules as either bad, weak or within acceptable limits.
Diagnostics are fully automated thus significantly reducing your downtime due to battery failure.
Service Hybrid Battery
Servicing and reconditioning your battery can be less expensive than swapping your battery depending on the number of bad modules you have. Also, servicing your battery will take a few days to fully recondition pack as it depends on the condition of your individual modules.
If you have some time and you'd like to keep your original battery pack, reconditioning service is the way to go.

Battery Swap versus Service
A failed battery can be either serviced or swapped depending on your needs. When your failed battery is serviced you will get your original battery back plus any modules that have been replaced. The advantage of a battery swap is you will have little down time. In most cases you can be back on the road the same day the battery is swapped.
